Each player will be assigned to one team only. A player will be placed with the franchise for which he ranks higher, not necessarily the team for which he had the highest WAR (though this will most often be the case). This is to balance franchises a little bit, though the ones you would expect to best the strongest still would be. But if player A had a 20 WAR at a position for a deep franchise like the Yankees but ranked 4th for the Yankees, and had a 7 WAR but ranked second for a franchise lacking depth like the Marlins, that player will go to the Marlins for the purposes of this set. 

All players will be rated adjusted for eras factoring in Clay Davenport's Davenport Translations to allow players from the early 1900s on a somewhat level playing field with today's players. 

There will be multiple versions of the set, a version with everyone aged 18 to get the maximum time out of everyone, and two "age adjusted" sets, one with old time players younger and more recent players older, and another with the more recent players younger and old-time players being older - to allow for more management being required in a franchise mode setting.
